This was a day I’ll never forget; a day the photos will never do justice. I was covering the protests post the Beirut Blast, when I found myself on the “other side”. After this shot was taken, the riot police marched forward, followed closely by their riot tanks. It all was happening so fast, I suddenly found myself behind the frontline of the riot police attacking us instead of staying with the protesting citizens, and had to watch the events unfold from an unexpected vantage point. Wondering if my family in between the protestors are okay while I was stuck behind enemy lines. Beirut, Lebanon #HarperCollins
