Disinfection brigade in Corabastos, Bogotá

By this time (April 10th, 2020) the Covid-19 pandemic had just arrived in Colombia and the authorities were taking measures to stop the spread of the virus. This was the first disinfection brigade in Corabastos, Bogotá’s biggest supply center, a place where almost 200,000 people circulate daily. #HarperCollins, that was also the first time I saw people with white clothes (personal protection equipment), and started realizing how scary this pandemic could be. A few days later, an artist contacted me and showed me how the foam portrayed in the image resembled a kid walking against all odds. Kind of what all of us have done during this pandemic: keep walking.
