In 2014, I planned, styled, and created one thought-provoking photograph per week, inspired by a song. A project that I entitled, 52weeks 52songs. I selected the songs based on the significance they played at different points in my life. I was inspired by my desire to translate those songs and moments into photographs, capturing the image they created in my mind. The project created a nuanced collection of 52 photographs each telling a different story on the journey of becoming me. This photo is related to the song 'Rome wasn't built in a day' by Morcheeba. All things take time to create, you must be strong, patient, believe in yourself, and never give up, because photography is a long path that's well worth it. In the end, you'll see the results of your hard work and how the camera becomes a part of you...(literally). Like I always said, 'Rome wasn't built in a day...'
