In 2014, I planned, styled, and created one thought-provoking photograph per week, inspired by a song. A project that I entitled, 52weeks 52songs. I selected the songs based on the significance they played at different points in my life. I was inspired by my desire to translate those songs and moments into photographs, capturing the image they created in my mind. The project created a nuanced collection of 52 photographs each telling a different story on the journey of becoming me. This photo is related to the song 'Four in the morning' by Ivy. Four in the morning and you can't sleep...maybe you could light a candle for each concern that you have, and see that perhaps there are not so many, so just extinguish all candles and go back to bed, tomorrow will be another day.
