A small, ancient town just over 100km north-east of Beijing resting at the foot of the Great Wall. There are no motorized vehicles authorized to drive within the town walls. The primary modes of transport are boat and bicycle. Day to day life in the Gubei Water town will give one the sense of being transported back in time a few hundred years.
