November 27th, Brussels. For the sixth consecutive year, the civil society associations federated by the "Mirabal Belgium" platform are calling for a new National Demonstration to fight against violence against women and to encourage public authorities to fully assume their responsibilities in the fight against violence against women. In Belgium, 152 women have died since 2017, plus 20 so far in 2022. Thousands of people gathered in the center of Brussels to send a strong signal on this day for the elimination of violence against women and make a call to civil society (associations and citizens) to express their rejection of 'machismo' violence.
