Biscarrosse - Nouvelle-Aquitaine - France

Friends told me to take a holiday in 2021. So I went solo in September to the South West coast of France south of Arcachon and Bordeaux to breathe in the air and rest. Mostly just surfers and late season holiday goers were around. This shot was taken at the lake, which is more inland. Between the lake and the Atlantic shoreline, there's a pine forest reserve through which we could ride bikes or walk. One day, I walked all the way to the lake from the shoreline. Quite a journey but it was relaxing once I got there. Before settling, I photographed this lone palm tree. A few other people were around too.
