My name is Maike and I am from Germany. I started with modeling and being in front of the camera around 2 years ago. I used to live in a toxic / abusive relationship where I was emotionally and physically abused. It took away all my self confidence and the love I had for myself. Living up to someone’s expectations that I was never able to fulfill was hard and exhausting. I ended up developing anxiety as well as depression. I was in a real dark place with no will to continue my life until one day, I walked into a facetime Fotoshooting session that my sister was attending and the photographer asked me to join the session. I was really sceptical but I did it anyway. It was so much fun and changed my life. I uploaded the picture to my Instagram and the response was crazy. I started to receive endless invitations from photographers and the rest is history. My road to self love was long and hard but I made it. Today I’m here to show everyone else that it is possible, you just can’t give up. This is my story
