In 2014, I planned, styled, and created one thought-provoking photograph per week, inspired by a song. A project that I entitled, 52weeks 52songs. I selected the songs based on the significance they played at different points in my life. I was inspired by my desire to translate those songs and moments into photographs, capturing the image they created in my mind. The project created a nuanced collection of 52 photographs each telling a different story on the journey of becoming me. This photo is related to the song 'Sweet home Alabama' by Sheryl Crow. Since I left my country, I've had a lot of moments that I miss little things from my country. When you left your country, nobody tells you about this kind of feeling. I guess some days are better than others. At least, I keep holding some very good memories, with some very good people.
