While daylight reveals all the brutality around us, neon lights soften the edges of the buildings and show main content for my works. My inspirations come from music and cinema. Music is main drive in my life and especially in photography, it gives my work a certain direction. My work is basically influenced by Radiohead, The Antlers, The National, Tame Impala, Arcade Fire, etc. Every picture taken by me has its own music that basically embodies its dominant mood. Cinematography gives me "building materials" for shooting pictures. Specifically, at nights, when city goes to sleep, and neon lights show brutality of the city I'm living in - Tbilisi. To sum up, Night Photography for me is intimate conversation with music and myself.
