In 2014, I planned, styled, and created one thought-provoking photograph per week, inspired by a song. A project that I entitled, 52weeks 52songs. I selected the songs based on the significance they played at different points in my life. I was inspired by my desire to translate those songs and moments into photographs, capturing the image they created in my mind. The project created a nuanced collection of 52 photographs each telling a different story on the journey of becoming me. This photo is related to the song 'Black Coffee' by All Saints. This song brings me back to really good times, moments that I would like to keep forever. Haven't you ever wished you could freeze a moment? Luckily, all those moments keep deep inside of me.
