I took these photos during my last visit to my home country, Lebanon. This 23-meter-tall structure which was designed and made by Nawef Alwan of the patron saint, Saint Charbel, stands on top of one of the mountains in a village called Faraya in Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. The statue weighs about 40 tons and is made from materials to withstand extreme weather conditions of the area and has become a notable touristic site for tourists visiting the country.
