Serene winter snow covered forest mountain woods

Mayrhofen - Tirol - Austria

A winter of failed ski vacation turned out to be a fruitful photography experiment with extreme weather conditions. There was heavy snowfall for 2 weeks already in Mayrhofen area in Austria, according to the locals. I haven't witnessed such a thing before - skiing literally in the clouds and constantly being bombarded with endless snowflakes. The feeling was terrible though. I got motion sickness as literally you can't feel if you're skiing down or uphill 😅. It was white, white everywhere! The only thing I did was to pick up my camera and slowly do several runs. These are some of the best shots I got from this vacation. To me, these photos not only mean mystery of what lies ahead of us as humanity. We are not only responsible for causing such extreme weather conditions across the world, but also we have to live with them in uncertainty. Are we going uphill or downhill? It's hazy. It's unknown and sometimes scary.
