Snow Day, London, England, 24 January 2021. This was the day when the whole of London let its hair down and enjoyed one beautiful day of snow. It was a Sunday, so online work and school was off the cards. To experience it felt like a collective sigh of relief, in the middle of the third lockdown of the pandemic, in which adults and children alike played in the snow. There were snowmen, snow-women and snow-dogs of all sorts of varying shapes and sizes, and, as happens when it snows, the landscape took on a magical quality. It was a wonderful day in which London remembered what it was to have fun!
