I was at Scissor Tail Park celebrating my first pride in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There was a drag performance happening on the stage infront of me, and it was amazing. The crowd was loving it; and as I looked to my right there was a kid sitting on top of his dads shoulders, holding a pride fan high in the air. He had the biggest smile on his face as he enjoyed the show with the rest of us. He was dancing to the music and enjoying performers and the environment. This moment represents that love and happiness is ageless and genderless. This photo represents acceptance. We should be teaching our children and youth to love and accept people for who they are. We should be teaching them that there is nothing wrong with being apart of the LGBTQA+ culture or even supporting the culture, because at the end of the day we are all human beings with the desire to experience love.
