Outdoor activities during Covid

This series arises within the framework of quarantine and social, preventive and mandatory in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, due to the virus pandemic COVID-19. A look that starts from an internal, curious search about new habits acquired in a new context of pandemic, to a broader view from what the new spatial limitations allowed, from the openings offered by a department in the middle of the City, discovering the stories that gave windows, balconies and terraces. Stories of adaptation and rediscovery of our spaces and all their possibilities, of introspection, of assuming new cleaning and disinfection habits, of protection, of connection, new codes of love, loneliness and companionship, to meet again with our partners by our side and keep in touch with the furthest, to discover our own resources to cope with fear, uncertainty and confinement. Faced with the challenge of reinventing my own photographic gaze in isolation, identifying, recognizing and shooting small bits of neighboring stories gradually became in an essential task to cope with everyday life. #HarperCollins Esta serie surge en el marco de la cuarentena y el distanciamiento social, preventivo y obligatorio en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, a causa de la pandemia del virus del COVID-19. Una mirada que parte desde una búsqueda interna, curiosa, sobre los nuevos hábitos adquiridos en un nuevo contexto de pandemia, se fue volcando hacia una mirada más amplia desde lo que permitían las nuevas limitaciones espaciales, desde las aberturas que ofrece un departamento en medio de la Ciudad, descubriendo las historias que regalaban ventanas, balcones y terrazas. Historias de adaptación y re descubrimiento de nuestros espacios y todas sus posibilidades, de introspección, de asumir nuevos hábitos de limpieza y desinfección, de protección, de conexión, de nuevos códigos de amor, de soledad y de compañía, de reencontrarse con el de al lado y mantenerse en contacto con el más lejano, de descubrir nuestros propios recursos para sobrellevar el miedo, la incertidumbre y el confinamiento. Frente al desafío de reinventar mi propia mirada fotográfica en situación de aislamiento, identificar, reconocer y retratar pequeños pedacitos de historias vecinas fue constituyéndose en una tarea esencial para sobrellevar la vida cotidiana. #HARPERCOLLINS
