In 2014, I planned, styled, and created one thought-provoking photograph per week, inspired by a song. A project that I entitled, 52weeks 52songs. I selected the songs based on the significance they played at different points in my life. I was inspired by my desire to translate those songs and moments into photographs, capturing the image they created in my mind. The project created a nuanced collection of 52 photographs each telling a different story on the journey of becoming me. This photo is related to the song 'Don't Worry Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin. This song is my life's philosophy or at least what I try! Life is sometimes easy and sometimes hard, but what it's really important in this life is to be happy and don't worry, because tomorrow and after tomorrow the sun will rise again and again.
