The painting says: tell the children... tell them our joy tell them our sorrow tell them tomorrow is their today tell the children tell the children... ...the truth... -artist unknown I would see this painting for years and years as I would walk past it many times over those years, but it only became timely in July when tensions were high and protesting erupted just up the street a few days before I captured this scene. The elder walking past and looking at the painting and the message it conveyed held power to me. I hope you feel the same from it.
