The outside of this tunnel felt eerie. I could feel the goosebumps overtaking my arms as I approached the entrance. A cool wind wafted out. I gulped my fear and went into the darkness. At first, all that I could see was a light in the distance. It felt like the tunnel went on forever. But finally, I made it to the light and it was amazing! This used to be an old mine and they had a hole in the top to make it easier to ship what they were mining out of there. If I remember correctly, I think it was ore that they were mining. My mouth opened wide in amazement as I took in this magical place. I could feel the stories that this place held. This was nice to see and it's great that it's on a nature reserve.
