I am currently following a 8 week course of portrait photography because I would like to learn more about it. I took these self portraits for an assignment we got, the goal was to learn others a little bit about ourselves. I grew up in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) but I was actually born in China, therefore I chose to pose with this 'rice hat' I got while being back in China for holidays in 2010.
