A rewarding view at Lobos Island. Isla de lobos is a small, very dry and rocky islet off the coast of its sibling island Fuerte Ventura, one of the main eight Canary Islands. The islet can be hiked entirely by foot under a couple of hours. It is a tough hike on very sunny days, since it’s desert-like biome provided no shades to hide under. About halfway of your hike, you are rewarded with this exquisite view of the open ocean and the hills surrounding the island.
