Took these when I embarked on a trip to Langkawi to photograph the stars. Langkawi is a really beautiful island that has a superstitious, historical storyline. It has really beautiful landscapes and attractions that is perfect for a short trip. I captured these to show the simplicity of life, and the beauty with the coexistence between people and nature, past and present. The lighthouse picture shot through the back of a wrecked boat is particular striking for me. It looks like the perspective of a returning fisherman, being guided back home by a faithful lighthouse.
