Black ants on brown soil

When people see this photo they assume it was taken by a proper macro lens but whereas it was taken with a 50mm prime lens. I could resist taking photos of the ants when i saw the ants marching along the stem of huge fallen tree . I knew i won’t be able to capture mutiple ants at once because of my 50mm 50mm lens, so i took enough photos (within 35 - 50 images ) selected the the best six and merged them together.
