April 2021, Dagestan, a ghost village called Gamsutl. Why is the village called ghost? Because it is abandoned and no one has lived there since 2016. It was in this year that the last resident of it died. It is very difficult to get to this village. It is impossible by car, only either on foot or on horseback. There is no road there, only a mountain road and a path, and in some places just a rocky slope. And so you need to go about 1700 meters up the mountain. This is not an easy task. Therefore, because of the inaccessibility, all its residents left, there were only those who had nowhere to go and no one to go with, well, old people who did not want to leave their homes. We arranged a photo shoot there. A very mysterious place, a place of power, a place of meditation, a place that makes you think, keep silent. A place where time has stopped and there is nowhere else to hurry.
