Parisian May Day Riots

2022's traditional Parisian May Day riots have been quite unusual compared to previous years. After violent clashes with protesters at the begginning of the march the police essentially vanished for about two hours. Hence, more radical protesters were given a green light to commit acts of vandalism. After a couple of hours the police rushed in and violently suppressed the protest using tear gas, stun grenades, flash bangs and rubber bullets.
