The photo surprisingly shows two male turkeys (gobblers) ganging up against a separate turkey for reasons that remain vague. Turkeys are known to fight for a number of reasons such as mating rights, territoriality among others which could also establish their pecking order. From what I noticed, only one female turkey was present in flock which seems to be a plausible reason for the partnership between the gobblers. The image was taken on the 7th of March 2020 around my home in Lagos, Nigeria during lock-down due to the global pandemic. I took the image to highlight animal behavior similar to that of humans when it comes to solving problems.
