Indigenous people and their supporters are walking through the city center during the indigenous liberation day held in amsterdam

On October 12th, Indigenous Peoples in different parts of the world are resisting the celebration of Columbus Day and are remembering Indigenous resistance against colonization. In Amsterdam, the organization 'Aralez' a pan-decolonial network & grassroots arranged several activities that included a solidarity march, a Mapu Ceremony, and the representation of a 1492 People's Tribunal to put settlers and companies on trial.
