Palomino is one of the jewels of Colombia's multiple touristic destinations. It is wedged between the snowy peaks of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Caribbean sea. Its geographic isolation and long-term association with the Colombian armed conflict, allowed for vegetation to grow unhindered and wild.
