This is called Abo Festival. It is an annual festival that is done to worship and praise the god of the land of Kabba. They are about 5 deities in Kabba village in Kogi State, Nigeria. The sons and daughters of Kabba from all walks of life converge every December to pay homage to the gods and deities of the land. This festival is characterized by rituals to the gods, different cultural performances by the masquerades to commemorate the annual event. It is an event that is fully packed with fun and excitement.
