Brown and white stripe textile

From time to time, the birds around our way discard what looks to me like perfectly still useful feathers. Since the me and the birds disagree, I waited until I was certain no bird was returning for any of these feathers, brought them home, washed them off, and eventually arranged them for my picture.....
