we were never the same

What led to the concept of this series titled “we were never the same”, is a song by japanese singer joji about his experience in an emotionless relationship. As nice as it may feel at times, he felt unfulfilled, and feared that this relationship was unsustainable in its current state; one of them has to walk away. But, these photographs also intertwine, two bodies with their different parts are joined together forming some kind of dependent connection. Yet that dependency was in fact unsustainable and that connection was emotionless. In the end, both bodies walked away - wu blu
